First of all: I'm really thankful that YOU chose ARTHUR & MARY :)
I'm so excited that we are going to work together but also that we're having a lot of fun together! YEEHAW!
To begin with, we have to finish all the required business stuff to have our heads clear on your big day...
Better for you and for me. No surprises, because we stick to our plan, so you do not have to worry about anything (even the weather hihi).
Read everything on this page, then fill out the form :)
PS: RELAX… everything will just be GREAT!
Here are some advises from me to you.
Why I love the getting ready…
It’s really important for me to get into the mood of your big day,
that’s why I begin your wedding coverage with the both of you getting ready!
Exchanging of the RINGS:
Please show me your hands, otherwise we do not have a proper photo of the ring exchange.
Attention quick kissers! This time it has to be a loooooooong kiss
(easier for me to take that great kiss shot).
Are you the first or last to exit the church?
I prefer that your wedding guest are coming first and then you.
More fun when the rice hits you right in the face! hahaha :)
Do you wish the traditional couples pics of all your guests in front of the church?
(These photos are not very creative, but if you wish, I will do them)
Bride & Groom Portraits
Important for the portraits:
Do you want your first look before or after ceremony?
You have to choose if you want it the intimate way (just the three of us) or
in church (in front of everybody).
Just let me know what you prefer... It will take up to 40 min...
During summer, the light is really sharp from 12 - 16 pm.
So I have to say that I prefer to do the portraits at a later moment, when the sun is going down.
This is called "the golden hour".
Family & Group Photos
Just tell me at what moment do you prefer to take the pics.
Tip: just make a list of everyone you wish to be on the photos
(YOU & your parents / your siblings / your grand-parents / …)
Reception & Dinner
My photographic approach is nontraditional-artistic-photojournalistic!
(a bit like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :)
For me it isn’t about capturing every single person, it’s about telling YOUR story.
I will keep “table shots” to a minimum.
I prefer instead to capture them laughing, smiling, dancing, drinking, and having a great time.
Please be so kind to put me on a table with your guests.
(this will transform me into an undercover ninja photographer!)
One last VERY IMPORTANT thing
Please try to avoid pink / blue / red / green LED lighting! It sucks! It really does!
Even if your DJ is swearing on it and saying things like: "it's very lounge style" (and stuff like this)
Don't trust him!
Here's why: everything will be dipped in colour!
PLEASE opt for light strings, candle light etc. This gives a WARMER light.
And it's much more flattering for you and for your wedding guests :)
BUT (there's always a but)
You can always opt for both: light strings & LED :)
(LED for the dancing disco style photos are perfectly ok!)
Here's a link that will lead you to some beautiful lighting ideas:
PS: Please please please tell your bridesmaids & best-men to install the projection wall for the slideshows not until they project the photos. You don't want to see this big white wall on every photo in the evening ;)
Why an agreement & What is it for?
The Agreement: this is the contract between you and me, that I, Arthur & Mary will be your wedding photographer.
The Authorization form: I’m an artist! I'd like to show my work to the world! I think of your wedding photos as art and that’s why I like, no LOVE to share the best of your wedding photos on my website. In order to get new clients and to spread my work, I have to show it. Since I have no studio with big windows, I need to share my work on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM or any other social platforms. PLEASE keep in mind that this is how our business works. THANK YOU so much for your understanding!
Some tricks and tips!
Please read this really great blog post from ROCKNROLLBRIDE (Photos aren’t mine, but really cool!)

I will send an email to you with your quotation and your deposit fee right after I got your form. THANKS!
